Riccardo Tisci Nike Collab Vogue Magazine

Earlier this month, Givenchy’s creative director Riccardo Tisci revealed to Style.com that he secretly collaborated with athletic wear giant, Nike. And now, Tisci has taken to his Instagram to share a snapshot of the collaboration—in what looks like, according to his hashtags, in issue of Vogue magazine. Perhaps the controversial Lena Dunham issue?

He captioned his Instagram, “NikeRT …. I’m so Honored @nike @voguemagazine @joansmalls @inezvinoodh #gracecoddigton #annaWintour #celebrationoflove.”

In the photo, Tisci is holding model Joan Smalls, who is posing on Kanye West’s BFF’s shoulders, in the extremely hightop sneakers. Givenchy’s creative director has said time and time again, he likes to ‘keep it in the family,’ choosing to dress Kim Kardashian for the Met ball, allowing Erykah Badu to appear in his Spring 2014 campaign, all the while championing Smalls.

The designer said of his collaboration, ““When I got the call, it sounded so strong, so perfect for my DNA. It’s a big honor for me, especially because they’re always wiring with sports people (also industrial designer Mark Newsom, artist Tom Sachs and most notably, West). I couldn’t bring them technology, instead I brought my style, what people like me for and what the young generation follows me for.”

We’re very interested to see what the rest of the collaboration looks like!
