Come May 6th, the Metropolitan Museum of Art will be taken over by celebrities, models, and designers, celebrating the opening of the Costume Institute’s Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit. While tickets to the event are saved for bold faced names, Hilary Rhoda and Vogue ‘s William Norwich will be doing their best to bring all of the excitement to your computer screen, thanks to a livestream!
For the second year in a row, the livestream will provide front row access to the red carpet, as well as interviews with all of the event’s co-chairs: Rooney Mara, Lauren Santo Domingo, Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci and Anna Wintour. Though you won’t be strutting your punk inspired styles down the red carpet alongside supermodels, here’s the next best thing. In between prep for your viewing party – champers and well heeled outfits, anyone – make sure to send in questions you’d like the co-chairs to answer, using #metquestions on Twitter. If you’re lucky, and your question is deemed Met worthy, Rhoda and Norwich will pose it, for all to hear!
