Inspiration: The Lebanese designer’s Fall 2013 couture collection is called “Enchanted Forest” and found its inspiration from the natural elements of the woods.

Trends: Murad’s line of floor-length evening gowns, cocktail dresses to the knee, and fitted body-suits show off the designer’s talent for creating gothic glam pieces, both devastatingly pretty and seductively dark at the same time. Each creation is meticulously crafted with stunning silhouettes boasting intricate hand beading, Chantilly lace detailing, sheer paneling, and sequins. Flowing mermaid style frocks and body hugging jumpsuits feature high-neck Victorian influenced designs, many with lace overlay and sparkling embroidery in the shape of flowers, branches, and roots as ode to the forests that inspired the overall theme of the collection.

Palette: champagne, nude, black, periwinkle, forest green, indigo, wine, sea foam, gunmetal, gold.

Who Was ThereKristen Stewart sat front row wearing a strapless one-piece with see through bottoms from Murad’s Fall 2012 couture line. She completed the look with Louboutin heels and a partly braided wild hair style, nailing the ultimate “when bad girls go couture” look. This isn’t the first time Stewart has shown support for the designer. Check out the golden chiffon and lace gown by Zuhair Murad she donned for the Breaking Dawn Part 2 LA premiere here.
