Blake Lively is known for her signature look, which includes those long, blond, and perfectly-tousled waves and glamourous gowns. While the actress has made subtle changes for the roles she has played, including the chestnut dye job in All I See Is You and the orange jumpsuit in A Simple Favor, Lively has never really undergone a dramatic character transformation. That’s why we were shocked to see her on the set of her new movie The Rhythm Section. If it weren’t for the film crew in Dublin, we would have never known it was her.
For her new role in the upcoming thriller, which is based on the best-selling book series by Mark Burnell, she trades in her long locks and fancy frocks for a short, shaggy wig and an oversized jacket and joggers. Her character, Stephanie Patrick, is an undercover assassin who has set out to avenge her family after an appeared tragedy was found to be intentional. Between the ragged wardrobe, disheveled wig, and the uncharacteristic under-eye bags (we can only assume these are courtesy of a great makeup artist), Lively is totally unrecognizable.
