It was only a few weeks ago that Forbes officially named Kylie Jenner the youngest self-made billionaire of all time, but in case you already forgot, her pricey manicure will remind you.
The 21-year-old reality star and makeup mogul flaunted a fresh new manicure on Instagram, a look that features $100 dollar bills on four of her fingers and a neutral color on the rest. The caption reads: "till my fingers blue," which is a reference to Smokepurpp’s song “Fingers Blue” with her boyfriend Travis Scott.
The look was designed by nail artist Chaun P, who has created similarly inventive looks for Jenner in the past, as well as her sister, Khloe, and momager, Kris. While we're guessing (hoping) the dollar bills aren't real, given Jenner's financial status, she could definitely spare a few.
Jenner's new manicure is likely to spark conversations similar to the ones that followed Forbes' announcement, suggesting that her wealth doesn't exactly fit into the definition of "self-made." Though the majority of her worth is thanks to her brand, Kylie Cosmetics, her other sources of income include reality TV, her paid app, her clothing collection, a book series, and brand partnerships -- all of which wouldn't be possible without her family's fame.
Nevertheless, we give Jenner props for owning her financial status and the hard work that went into it, though it's certainly not a look we'll be sporting anytime soon. That is, unless ironic nail designs become a trend.
