It's safe to say that Chrissy Teigen has a thick skin when it comes to haters on social media, but that doesn't mean she'll let every nasty comment slide. The model/author/hilarious lady is no stranger to shutting down trolls, and she recently reminded everyone of her strong clap back skills.
Teigen, who is the mother of two, posted an adorable Instagram video of her daughter, Luna, seeing her "big girl" bed for the first time. Luna quickly realizes, however, that her parents have moved her stuffed animals (without her permission!) and becomes intent on putting them back in their rightful place.
The video is hilarious, and extremely relatable to any parent with a sassy child. But of course, one follower had to ruin all the fun with a rude comment, writing: "Bikini pics only, you were a model nobody cares about your kids."
Aside from the fact that the 11,000 comments on Teigen's video prove that people do, in fact, care about her children, this user's demand is straight up sexist.
Of course, Teigen clapped back in her usual witty fashion: "yeah well now that I've had kids you don't wanna see me in a bikini so it's quite the dilemma."
Her response is self-deprecating, poking fun at the physical changes that come along with having children, but it also points out that trolls will never be satisfied. Even if she did post more bikini photos, someone would be waiting to comment on how her body isn't the same as it used to be.
This isn't the first time Teigen has responded to followers trolling her parenting, and it surely won't be the last. In 2018 when she posted a photo of her son Miles wearing a head-shaping helmet, she received a slew of comments criticizing her decisions. Her response on Twitter summed up her feelings towards internet hate pretty perfectly:
“Good morning trolls! Just a friendly reminder that you do not indeed know absolutely everything."
