Between Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner joining the Jonas family and Katherine Schwarzenegger's fairy tale celebration with Christ Pratt, it has been a big year for celebrity weddings. But amidst all the fanfare, Heidi Klum decided to fly under the radar. It's being reported that that Klum and Tokio Hotel musician Tom Kaulitz tied the knot back in February after obtaining a marriage certificate in the same month.
Few details about the secret ceremony have emerged, but apparently, multiple sources have confirmed the news to TMZ. According to site, the couple was spotted on a dinner date at Mr. Chow in NYC on February 22 of this year, which is the day that their marriage license was issued and the one year anniversary of the day they first met. Though Klum and Kaulitz haven't officially confirmed the news, we anticipate an announcement will be made soon.
The pair met in February 2018 and there was immediate buzz around their 17-year age difference (Klum is 46 and Kaulitz is 29). In July 2018, the supermodel and host opened up to InStyle about it all: "My boyfriend is many years younger than me, and lots of people are questioning that and asking about it," she said. "That’s really the only time when age seems to be shoved in my face and I have to give an answer for it...I don’t really think about it that much otherwise. You have to just live a happy life without worrying too much about what people think because worrying is only going to give you more wrinkles."
Kaulitz proposed in December 2018, less than a year after they started dating. Klum announced the news via a sweet Instagram selfie. "I SAID YES," she captioned the black-and-white photo. Her Instagram is full of sweet photos of the two of them appearing happy and crazy in love. If the news secret nuptials is true, this is Klum's third marriage (she was previously married to Ric Pipino from 1997 to 2002, and to Seal from 2005 to 2014) and Kaulitz's second.
