Heidi Klum has become the Queen of Halloween, and it looks like she has no plans of stepping down anytime soon. Every year the supermodel hosts a highly-anticipated costume party that’s full of famous faces, but it’s always her elaborate costumes — from last year’s “Thriller” werewolf to the iconic Heidi clones in 2016 — that steal the spotlight. And last night was no different. For her 19th Annual Halloween Party at Lavo nightclub in New York City, Klum transformed into Princess Fiona from "Shrek."
Before the big reveal, Klum teased her costume with behind-the-scenes clips of the transformation process. She reportedly spent hours in hair, makeup, and prosthetics (which she wore on her face, chest, hands, and feet) to look exactly like the green ogress from the animated film — and it paid off! She was completely unrecognizable in costume at the star-studded soiree.
Klum was accompanied by her boyfriend Tom Kaulitz, who also underwent a transformation to become Shrek. "It’s special that I finally found my Shrek,” she told Entertainment Tonight. "I kind of always wanted to be Fiona, but I never had the Shrek to do it with.” Talk about #CoupleGoals.
The pair posed for photos on the red carpet before entering the party as the DJ played the movie's signature song, "I'm a Believer." After greeting guests, they mingled and danced the night away.
We wonder how long it took to get these costumes off after...
