People Are Praising Jessie J For Calling Out Her Cellulite In Swimsuit Photo

These days, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a photo of a celebrity that hasn’t been retouched. With all the apps and filters available, Photoshopped images aren’t reserved for ads and billboards anymore; they’re taking over our social media feeds as well. But some stars prefer to keep it real — lumps, bumps, cellulite and all.

Jessie J recently took to Instagram to share a shot from her beach vacation. In the photo, her hair blows in the wind as she stands on some rocks, sporting a sexy black mesh bikini with her booty on display. The best part, though, is that the UK-born singer shut down trolls before they even had a chance to attack.

“Took ages to hairspray my hair like that. My shadow is my mood. oh and for those telling me I have cellulite. I know. I own a mirror,” she captioned the photo.

Despite the simple fact that most women have cellulite, what’s even more upsetting is that people still think it’s okay to point out the things they think are wrong with a woman’s body. It just goes to show that we’ve come to expect airbrushed perfection, especially when it comes to celebrities.

But the comments aren’t all negative. In fact, the majority of them are positive, praising Jessie J for her realness. One follower commented: “Yasssss! Everyone has cellulite, i dont care what anyone says. Own it girl. ❤️”

Another wrote: “LOVE that you didn’t photoshop your pic to hide the cellulite! I struggle so much with mine constantly worrying I’m not pretty enough bc of all the “perfect” photoshopped bodies all over social media. Need more ppl showing off real natural bodies to help get rid of the stigma. ❤️ You!”

Social media tends to bring out the worst in people, but it’s clear that celebrities are not going to stand for body shaming. Swimsuit model Emily Ratajkowski also recently Swimsuit Model Emily Ratajkowski Shuts Down Body Shamers After Posting Bikini Picture
