Bath bombs are joining the list of KFC-themed swag (which also includes jewelry, clothing, art prints, and a $20,000 meteorite carved into the shape of a chicken sandwich), meaning you can now make your chicken soup and soak in it too. Assuming you live in Japan, that is. The doers of deep-fried drumsticks have teamed up with Japanese retailer Village Vanguard, the brand that came up with soup-scented baths, to create this super limited-edition, finger-lickin’ good (but also pretty gross?) promotion.
Sadly, they only made 100 of the bombs, and in order to enter to get one, you have to be based in Japan (we know, bummer) and retweet one of their promotion posts. So far, they have thousands of retweets, and it’s only day three. Participants have until November 15 to enter. In addition to the chicken-scented bath bomb, winners will receive a red and white branded box and a special coupon for a “Secret Combination Pack” of chicken, according to the Independent.
So if you’re in Japan and you love KFC, we wish you the best of luck and we can’t wait to hear what it’s like to bathe in chicken. As for the rest of us, there’s always weed bath bombs (which, come to think of it, would go real well with some fried chicken).
