Khloé Kardashian Has Choice Words For Critics
In case you haven’t been Keeping Up with the Kardashians, it’s been a tough couple of weeks for Khloé. She’s still dealing with her split from Tristan Thompson, after he was caught cheating with her sister’s friend Jordyn Woods, and working on ways to co-parent their daughter, True, while not being together.
“This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I),” Khloé tweeted at the time, adding, “I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True.”
But the blows didn’t stop there. Last week, Khloé posted a photo of herself wearing a sparkly, see-through jumpsuit to Instagram. The image was clearly edited, and it didn’t take long for followers to point out the Photoshop fail, with many leaving hateful words in the comments section. Then, after posting an adorable photo of True surrounded by a number of Birkin bags, the Internet went off, calling her materialistic, arrogant, and tacky, among other things.
Now, it seems Khloé is over the negativity, and she’s letting the world know it. Over the weekend, she took to Instagram to deliver a few choice words to her haters.
Alongside a selfie, of course, Khloé wrote: “’Your perception of me is a reflection of you.’ Be aware of your words. What you say does matter. Become more aware of the negative things you think and say. What does it actually accomplish by criticizing somebody else? Do you have any concept of how positively it can change someone’s day to receive a compliment or words of encouragement? Try to choose your words wisely. What you say to others says much more about you than it does about them.”
Love her or hate her, Khloé isn’t wrong. With all the negativity being disseminated, it’s easy for people to feel like they can post whatever is on their mind, regardless of how hurtful or otherwise socially inappropriate it is. You never know what someone is really going through in their life, even a Kardashian, so it's best to be kind to whoever you interact with online.
Remember, at the end of the day, the best case scenario for a troll is that a fight will ensue in the comments section, but what good does that do? Engaging in a comment war probably won’t curb anyone's behavior. Case in point: Khloé is still out there showing some skin, sporting designer bags, and living her life. Don't like what you see? Then consider a social media purge.
