Kim Kardashian documented her trials and tribulations with both of her pregnancies on her reality show, Keeping up With the Kardashians, but it turns out there was a major bombshell that never aired--until now.
The reality star isn't afraid to candidly open up, but even her most devoted fans were shocked to hear she suffered a major miscarriage scare when pregnant to her first child, North West.
During the Keeping Up With The Kardashians 10th Anniversary Special, (which airs Sunday night, on E!), unaired footage was revealed, as Kim detailed the "debilitating" stomach pain that had her convinced she suffered a miscarriage. She was so scared she flew home from Miami on Thanksgiving Day to see her doctor. "I thought I had a miscarriage. I was pretty certain about it," she says--and the doctor seemed to agree: "there's no heartbeat—you had a miscarriage," but he told her to come back after Thanksgiving dinner, just in case. When she did, they found a heartbeat.
It's understandable why such a situation would lead to a lot of anxiety, especially with her first pregnancy. "I was like 'oh my god!' It was an such an emotional Thanksigiving," Kim adds, saying that her big sis, Kourtney, was the only one who knew about the miscarriage scare.
While Kim is currently a devoted mom-of-two, she also admitted that she wasn't always ready to embrace motherhood. "I remember calling [Kanye], and he thought a family member of mine had died I was so hysterical," she says. "I thought my life was over, that I was pregnant and [it was going to be] so hard for me."
