Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are apparently nailing parenthood, and we can't say we're surprised. Sources recently told Elle that the royal couple is enjoying every second with their newborn son Archie, saying that "they couldn't be happier."
“Meghan is radiant, taking each day one day at a time," the source added. "What strikes me most is this authentic peacefulness that has settled within her." Sources also revealed that the new mom is still breastfeeding Archie and that Prince Harry is already a whiz at diaper changes.
Prince Harry's good friend, Nacho Figueras told Elle at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic that he met Archie in London and says that the Duke is a "natural" at fatherhood. Figueras continued: "He knows what to do. He’s already an amazing father."
Elle also reported that though Markle is expected to take a three- to four-month maternity leave, the 37-year-old will make "intermittent appearances" at certain special events, like the Queen's official birthday celebration earlier this week. According to recent reports, the new parents have also been hosting initiate dinners with family and close friends, like George and Amal Clooney and Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian.
Markle and Prince Harry, who married in May 2018, gushed about their new baby to reporters just two days after Archie's birth. “It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing,” Markle said when asked what it’s like being a new mother. Prince Harry was equally ecstatic, saying, "It’s great. Parenting is amazing. It’s only been two and a half days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy."
Aww. We can't wait to see what's in store for the happy family of three.
