Yolanda Hadid’s New Reality Show Is About Models and Their Momagers

Yolanda Hadid, Real Housewives alum, former model, and mother to Gigi and Bella, is starring in an America's Next Top Model-inspired show called Making a Model with Yolanda Hadid, and it seems poised to become our next big reality TV addiction. The premise is this: Hadid, who has helped launch ultra-successful modeling careers for each of her three children, will mentor five aspiring teen models and their momagers. The cutthroat world of modeling always makes for good TV, but add “momagers” to the equation and you've got what sounds to us like a hit.

The series will premiere on January 11 on Lifetime, but Entertainment Weekly already has a preview that teases frequent cameos by, duh, Gigi and Bella, as well as the likes of Tommy Hilfiger. The models are competing for a weekly $5,000 prize as well as the final grand prize of a management contract with Hadid and representation by IMG Models.

And since Hadid knows how to make both A-list models and good reality television, we'll be watching for both the drama and the opportunity to see fashion's It girls of tomorrow (and their moms) in action.
