3 Cocktails to Toast to the End of Tax Season
We’ve waited until the last minute, gone to see our tax professional (or decided to do it on our own), and waited on line at the post office to send everything off in time. After your envelopes received that April 15th postage mark, it’s time to sit back and relax with a chilled cocktail or two and think about what you can splurge on with your refund check.
Watermelon Passion Spritzer
1 ½ oz. Pucker Watermelon Wow Vodka
1 ½ oz. Passion Fruit Juice
2 1-inch chunks of Watermelon
Splash of Lemon Sour
Muddle the watermelon chunks in a cocktail shaker; add ice and the remaining ingredients. Shake and strain over fresh ice in a highball glass. Garnish with passion fruit pulp and watermelon ball or chunk.

2 oz. EFFEN Vodka
¾ oz. Fresh lime Juice
¾ oz. Agave Syrup
1/8 inch Fresh Ginger
5 Fresh Black Berries
2 Fresh Basil Leaves
Muddle all ingredients except the vodka in a cocktail shaker. Add vodka and shake with ice, and then strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a basil leaf.
1 ½ oz. Sauza Reposado 100% Agave Tequila
½ oz. John Dekuyper & Sons 03 premium Orange Liqueur
¼ cup Fresh-Squeezed Lime Juice
¼ cup Fresh-Squeezed Orange Juice
