Anna Wintour Has Her Work Cut Out for Her

Kanye Westis still pushing on with his campaign to get his fiancé Kim Kardashian on the cover of Vogue magazine.

Page Six reported that West courted the subject over lunch with the glossy’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel last Friday.

“They were in a corner booth, very intense,” a source told the paper. “He was talking nonstop. She did not get a word in edgewise.”

West has deemed only Vogue worthy to photograph his baby girl, North West, a big responsibility for any magazine to bear. Wintour, if she accepts, will have her work cut out for her with this one.

Not to mention, she’s headed to the small screen as the star in the newest iteration of The Fashion Fund, a televised documentary that lifts the curtain on the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund competition in a series of six, hour-long episodes that will air on Ovation TV starting January 22 at 10 p.m.

“This is not a contrived documentary,” said Ovation senior vice president of programming and production Scott Wooward. “These are true fashion experts who have an amazing gift.”

Experts like designer and Council of Fashion Designers of America president Diane von Furstenberg, J.Crew president Jenna Lyons, Theory co-founder and chief executive officer Andrew Rosen, and fashion director and senior vice president of Neiman MarcusKen Downing, will appear in the series, Women’s Wear Daily is reporting.
