Atelier Pronovias Bridal 2014
DESIGNER: Atelier Pronovias
INSPIRATION: As guests gathered at St. James Church in Manhattan’s Upper East Side neighborhood, it was clear that the latest Atelier Pronovias bridal collection aimed to capture all things quintessentially bridal. Though classic organ sounds set the scene, contemporary music boomed through the speakers once the models began strutting down the aisle (working their way from the altar to the back of the Church). This environment mimicked the collection’s fusion of modern and traditional, as the looks combine classic silhouettes with innovative and intricate details. The gowns also possess an updated degree of versatility, as several boast detachable fringe and skirts.
TRENDS: Lace overlays, fringe, peplum waists, structured bodices, voluminous skirts
PALETTE: White, gold, silver
WHO SHOULD WEAR IT: The bride who longs for a traditional look for the ceremony, but also a dress in which she can party all night long.
