Backstage Beauty Beat: Erin Fetherston Fall 2014

THE SHOW:Erin Fetherston

THE HAIR: James Corbett began by glossing many of the models' hair using Clairol's Natural Instincts to enhance the hue and shine of their strands. The hair team kept things classic by spraying the crown of the head with the Salon Grafix Shaping Spray before teasing the roots to create a a little height. Some of the charm school classmates had their tresses pulled back into ponytails, using Olivia Garden brushes and tools, that were spritzed with the freezing spray and brushed through for added texture.

THE MAKEUP: The Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics team kept the faces fresh, only hiding blemishes and evening tone when necessary with its Airbrush Foundtion. They added a slight flush to the cheek with the Crème Colour Concentrate in Grandma. The eyes took flight with the help of the brand's new Cosmetics Colour Pencils in Tarred with just a few swipes of mascara for good measure. Even the lips with left nearly nude with just a touch of the clear version of the cult favorite Lip Tar.

THE MANI:Miss Pop found a flapper in Fetherston's class of girls, creating a monogrammed and mini-moon manis. She started with by applying the KISS 100-Count Nail Covers in Active Oval before adding two coats of Ruby Kisses light pink polish. She then used the brand's Nail Artist Paints in black and white for different girls to swipe the tiny half circles at the cuticle. Using Fetherston's monogram logo as inspiration, Miss Pop then inscribed the ring fingers with the signature cursive “E” with a few calligraphic flourishes before finishing with a top coat.
