Backstage Beauty Beat: Jason Wu Spring 2014

The Show: Jason Wu

The Hair:Odile Gilbert created Wu's sleek sovereign by first flat ironing the hair with Kérastase's upcoming Gloss Appeal for smooth strands and creating a deep middle part. She then slicked back the hair with the Short Mania Pomade into a low ponytail. Extensions were added for length and a blunt end to many of the models' tresses. The ponytail was held together with either a gold or rose gold barrette and a blast of the upcoming Laque Couture Hairspray and Gloss Appeal Spray for shine.

The Makeup: Diane Kendal kept the gals gilded with a sparkling smoked eye. The crease was defined with a diffused line of Lancôme's Le Crayon Kohl in Black with the lash line inked in the brand's collaboration, Artliner Noir. The rest of the lid was first filled with the upcomign Color Design Eye Brightening All-in-One 5 Pan Shadow and Liner Palette in Bronze Amour and followed up with a gold glitter, patted on with a damp shadow brush with a few coats of the Hypnôse Star mascara. The rest of the face was kept fresh and dewy to balance the bold eye with a slight flush to the cheek with the Blush Subtil in Cedar Rose.

The Mani: Nude was still the name of the game with a few coats of Vernis in Love in Cristal Quartz to keep the look sleek and polished.
