Backstage Beauty Beat: Marchesa Spring 2014

Prince Charles

The Show: Marchesa

The Hair: Odile Gilbert created a soft waves by first creating a deep siding part roughly drying the hair with Kérastase's Mousse Bouffant but following the hair's natural texture. She tamed flyaways with the Ciment Thermique before gluing on tufts of blacks feathers to make them look like little birds. She sealed the style with the Laque Dentelle.

The Makeup: Gucci Westman took the opportunity to create a gothic romance. After perfecting the skin, she used Revlon's upcoming Skinlights Face Illuminator in Bare Light and the PhotoReady Cream Blush in Flushed to add a healthy glow. She created soft smoke on the eyes with the upcoming ColorStay Shadowlink in Charcoal, defining the eyes with the ColorStay Eyeliner in Brown and Black with a few swipes of mascara. For the deep pout, she lined the lips before layering the Super Lustrous Lipstick in Va Va Violet and the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Adore before setting it with PhotoReady Eye Palette in Muse from the Evening Opulence Collection.

The Mani: Jin Soon Choi kept it simple and sweet with two easy coats of Revlon's “Charming.”
