Backstage Beauty Look of the Day: Christian Siriano Spring 2015
THE SHOW: Christian Siriano
THE HAIR: Anthony Cole the girls a morning-after mane with much fuss. He applied Sebastian Professional's Mousse Forte from root to tip before sectioning the hair in two at the crown and blow drying the bottom section. Once dry, Cole took one-inch pieces from the bottom section, and created a loop from the top, pressing it with a hot iron. He set the section with a spritz of the Shaper Zero Gravity spray. For the top section, Cole created a deep side part before curling the hair the same as the bottom section and bringing them together again. To eliminate shine, he dabbed some of the front pieces with the Shine Crafter before twisting them for a more tousled look, sealing the style with the Shaper Zero Gravity spray.
THE MAKEUP: Polly Osmond kept the look all about the eyes by placing opalescent sequins on the lids using MAC's Pro Mixing Medium Eyeliner as the glue. Lashes were coated with a custom blue mascara with iridescent chunky glitter-covered #30 Lashes so they could easily catch the light as the models moved. The face was evened out by pressing a bit of Face & Body Foundation into the skin with dabbling of the Spring Sensation shade of the upcoming Spring 2015 Lip and Cheek Trend Palette. The pout was turned down with a touch of concealer with a layer of Lip Conditioner for moisture.
THE MANI: Any polish on the nails was removed, leaving them freshly nude.
