Backstage Beauty Look of the Day: Donna Karan Spring 2015

THE SHOW:Donna Karan

THE HAIR: Eugene Souleiman opted for something ambitious, creating a four-strand rope twist. He began by adding extensions to lengthen and thicken the strands before smoothing them back with a generous blast of Wella Professionals Stay Styled hairspray. He then got another set of hands to separate the strands into fours before taking turns twisting the strands to create a rope-like braid, tying off the ends to look like a paintbrush.

THE MAKEUP: Charlotte Tilburycreated a soft smolder for the eyes that complemented the collection by washing a bit of MAC's Tailor Grey Paint Pot with a fluffy brush from lash line to the brow. She swept the Camel Coat Paint Pot underneath the eyes for added depth before emphasizing the lashes with the Brown Haute & Naughty Mascara. Brows and lips were toned down by brushing concealer through the brows and pressed onto the lips with a dusting of powder to create a matte effect. Tilbury kept the face clean by buffing a combination of the Select Cover Concealer with the Studio Moisture Cream, pressing the moisture cream onto the cheeks for a shiny effect on the skin.

THE MANI:Deborah Lippmann kept it classic with two fresh coats of the upcoming Like Dreamers Do polish with a Flat Top Top Coat and two coats of My Old Flame on the toes.
