Badgley Mischka Fall 2015

Designer: Mark Badgley and James Mischka

Inspiration: Baroque
Trends: More casual pieces of the opulent collection included pencil skirts, in tweed, royal-hued calf hair, and bead covered jacquard, most of which were paired with peplum tops or heavy coats. A slew of fit-and-flare, knee-length frocks showed off brocade patterns and gilded embellishments. The gowns stole the show as the featured ornamentation, from lace to embroidery, proved that sometimes more is, well, more.
