Hourglass is finally planting its flag. After years of being department store darlings, the beauty brand is set to open up shop on Abbot Kinney Boulevardon September 22 in its hometown of Venice, California. Hourglass founder and chief executive officer Carisa Janes says of the storefront’s locale, “I’ve been here for seven years, and I’ve watched Abbot Kinney develop into this amazing retail pocket in Venice, and it just seemed like the perfect timing for us to do a store.
