Beauty Buzz: Katy Perry Pumps Up the Purple, Zosia Mamet Goes Grey, and Khloe Kardashian Opts for a Blonde Balayage

It’s official: Katy Perry has rocked every hair color in the rainbow. The songstress debuted purple strands (with a red/pink undertone to it) via her Instagram as she shared her #OOTD. Though Perry rocked a deeper version of the hair hue back in 2012, we prefer this lush and lighter tone. [Instagram]

There’s a new silver fox on the loose: Zosia Mamet. The Girls star shocked many when she stepped out for the premiere of A Most Violent Year on December 7. Just like most beauty buffs, her reasoning behind the shade switch was simple. “I got bored,” she explained. “I had very long ‘brown virgin hair’ my whole life, and after I got to be blonde for a play that I did, I loved it and wanted to do something different.” [Us Weekly]

We guess ombré wasn’t enough for Khloe Kardashian, as she’s gone back to blonde from root-to-tip. She shared a snap of the results of Tracey Cunningham’s work via Instgram, fresh from the salon chair. She gave a shout to the celebrity colorist, captioning her pouty selfie with, “I missed being blonde!!! Thank you @traceycunningham1 for turning me back blonde again!!! I love you girly!!!” [The Huffington Post]

Erickson Beamon and LeSportsac are bringing their covetable collection of cosmetic cases and more to Soho. Just in time for the holiday season, bauble and beauty buffs can stop by LeSportsac’s NYC shop between December 10 and 15 to snap up the beautiful bags, including Beamon’s gorgeous jewels that you can safely tuck away in a new custom jewelry roll.
