As if plunking down $50 for a nail polish weren’t enough to cause sticker shock, Christian Louboutin has upped the ante once again with a $675 bottle. A limited edition holiday launch, Starlight houses the brand’s signature Rouge Louboutin shade in a bottle bejeweled with 1,500 hand-applied two-stone Strass crystals inside of a black lacquer box decked out with leather and crystal flower modeled after the Pensamoi shoe. Not surprisingly, the luxe lacquer is actually pricier than a few pairs of his sexy steppers. Sultry shoes or chic nail polish for the holiday season? A tough choice indeed! [Fashionista]

Hair stylist to the stars Ken Pavesis heading over to the beauty aisle with his own line. Slated to hit Wal-Mart shelves on December 15, the range is meant to lift self-esteem of shoppers everywhere starting with the name: You Are Beautiful. The line includes three shampoos and conditioners, Nourish & Hydrate, Smoothing, and Volumizing, and an array of styling products and hair masks.
