The high-end brand curated chic shades for spring and summer for Essie and even remixed L’Oréal’s Colour Riche Designer Extraordinnaire lipstick packaging and will debut with the fresh fashions on April 19. JCPenney is upgrading its select salons with help from InStyle with makeovers in 15 locations before rolling out the revamps to the rest in 2016. The collaboration will include new equipment, furniture, and décor for some while others will see new treatments and color schemes to refresh the spaces. As InStyle and StyleWatch editorial director Ariel Foxman said, “Beauty is a huge focus for our readers. They spent over $2.1 billion on beauty products in the past year, equivalent to 9 percent of all spending on beauty in the U.S. We see this partnership as a way to extend our relationship with our consumer in a new, tangible way."
