I've been traveling so much lately that I've been slacking on my primping. A mere four days after returning to NYC from London, I foolishly flew to Paris with a week-old TopShop manicure. (Definitely not a good look.)
In a bid to pamper my neglected nails, earlier today (between Rick Owens and Nina Ricci) I set out to find a nail salon for a quick manicure, and stumbled upon the Culture of Color (OPI) Nail Bar. (Confession: I had NO idea OPI even had nail bars.)
Open from 10:30am to 8pm daily, a color polish change will cost €5, but a french tip will run you €9. A full manicure is €20, a spa manicure is €35, and a set of falsies cost €58. For a pedicure, the charge is €35 for a classic, and €45 for a spa.
A bonus for all of you OPI fanatics; here's where you will find every OPI Nail Lacquer under the sun, for use in-salon or for purchase. The walls are lined with the classic collection, discontinued collections, and all of the new collections. (I chose Vodka & Caviar from the Russian Collection. I'm super obsessed with cherry red nails all of a sudden.)
Just an FYI, always call ahead. Simply walking in is a crap-shoot; I was incredibly lucky, as the nice nail technician kept telling me. More likely than not, they'll ask you to make an appointment and come back at a later date. Below, address and contact of all four Paris locations.
