Beyond Amazing: A Roundup of Beyonce’s Concert Wardrobe
The Emperor-ress' has a ton of new clothes. And we can't stop talking about them. Since kicking off The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Serbia on Monday, the fashion credits just keep on rolling in for Queen Bey's looks. Let's have a quick recap, shall we?
First, we mentioned to you that Julien Macdonald was tasked with designing looks for the tour. Though didn't have a visual at the time of the announcement, we did know that we liked the creation Beyonce wore for her Good Morning America concert series, so it had to be good.
Next up? DSquared2 joined the growing list of designers working on show looks. Then we found out that Beyoncetapped Pucci designer Peter Dundasto create looks for her inspired by his Fall 2013 collection.
Still with us? On Monday, the start of the tour, we found out that Stuart Weitzman heels, were in fact, fit for a queen, when Beyonce chose to wear his shoes. “She absolutely has the impression of not being willing to suffer, no matter how the shoe looks on her foot,” Weitzman said.
When photos popped up of the “Bow Down” singer wearing a suit embroidered with 30,000 Swarovski crystals (that took over 600 hours to apply) that look like, er, faux female anatomy, it was The Blonds who were credited with one of the most provocative look Beyonce has worn.
Beyonce caught a little flack for The Blonds look—can't say we're surprised there—but that hasn't stopped her from wearing suits that strongly resembled the female body. Most recently, she was photographed in another concert look, this time a Ralph & Russo Couture sheer embellished bodysuit with gold crystal and bullion thread embroidery. Oh, and more nipples. Sequin nipples (pictured).
Oy Bey. We're sure this isn't the last that we'll hear of her concert wardrobe so be sure to check back here to see the lastest looks!
