Block Party: How to Color Block This Season

When it comes to color-blocking, we always look to the runways for color-combination inspiration. Color-blocking isn’t just a fall trend—it can be incorporated into every season. Last autumn, several of our favorite designers displayed some seriously inspiring color combinations for their spring-summer 2013 collections. Burberry proved that the year’s hottest shade, emerald, would look fabulous year-round; the designer lightened up the jewel tone for summer and added a touch of metallic and fuchsia. DVF took one of our favorite tones for summer, a not-quite-neon citrus green, and paired it with a shimmery coral for a totally fresh look. You can also color-block with accessories: Think a bright coral maxi paired with a cobalt blue clutch. The possibilities are endless, and it’s okay to break the rules!

With so many style choices this season, selecting a trend that fits your look can be a daunting task. Luckily, U by Kotex® + GLAM have teamed up to put together their summer favorites for you. Get inspired, and remember, all you have to do next is try it for yourself!
