Blue Jeans Go Green!

How’s this as an incentive to go green: Cotton is bringing awareness to their program Blue Jeans Go Green—that, in turn, is raising awareness about textile recycling with a celebrity auction!

Pictured on the right in the jeans she's auctioning off, Hayden Panettiere joinsHeidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Britney Spears, Dwayne Wade, Kourtney Kardashian, Darren Criss, Ryan Phillip, Andy Roddick, Brooklyn Decker, AnnaSophia Robb, Kellan Lutz and Shenae Grimes each contributed a pair of jeans (and signed them!) for “The Great Denim Challenge” where the only currency accepted is denim. The auctions will conclude on November 3rd, so you have plenty of time to figure out which denim pieces to recycle.

Donate your denim items and help insulate communities in need across the U.S. All of the denim collected through the program is recycled to UltraTouch Denim Insulation, and a portion of it, up to approximately 250,000 square feet, will be distributed to help communities in need each year.

Going green never looked so good—especially in jeans.
