Her Campus, the number one online community for college women, hosted its third U by Kotex College Fashion Week show over the weekend in Raleigh, N.C. Co-eds from UNC-Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University, and Duke University flocked to Mirage in fall’s trendiest attire to watch their peers strut the runway.

Noteworthy outfits were in abundance, but a few stood out from the crowd. Several attendees made their own personal fashion statements while showcasing some of this season’s hottest student styles.

One attendee paired a structured blazer with jeans, an outfit every college girl can rock. Blazers not only keep things classy on campus but are also one of the hottest cool-weather looks this year. The stylish student knows how to strike the right balance between casual and chic.

Maxidresses are everywhere on college campuses this fall and are great for any occasion. Going to class? Throw on a denim jacket and sandals for an everyday look. Headed out on the town for date night? Adding a pair of heels and some jewelry will do the trick.

Colored denim is huge this season and looks good on everyone. These jeans are a simple way to keep your outfit fresh without a lot of effort. This young woman paired her red jeans with a patterned shirt, colorful scarf, and neutral flats for a look that screams style.

As they have been for the past few years, riding boots are a college-girl favorite again this autumn. This attendee sported her classy black pair with sheer tights and a flowy polka-dot dress for a swankier vibe, but riding boots can essentially be worn with any stylish outfit.
