Going from blonde to brunette isn't the only switcheroo Cara Delevingne has made lately. After years of making a name for herself on the catwalk and in countless fashion campaigns, Delevingne is officially making the switch to film. Having just completed her sixth movie, the British model is focusing on her acting career as of late. “[Modeling] has definitely become more on the back burner, just because there’s no way I can work as much as I have been,” she told WWD. “I mean, every day of my last couple of years, I’ve been modeling and now, I’ve just been doing films.”
Her upcoming projects include The Face of an Angel, Michael Winterbottom’s take on the story of Amanda Knox, London Fields starring Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, Tulip Fever with Christoph Waltz and Joe Wright’s Pan, featuring Hugh Jackman and Rooney Mara. As some of Delevingne’s biggest fans, we’re excited to see how her quirky nature and irreverent attitude translate to the big screen—something tells us it’ll be rather glorious.
