Though she just launched the first issue of her biannual magazine, CR, Carine Roitifeld is hardly limiting herself to a singular title. Harper's Bazaar just announced that the former French Vogue editor in chief is adding new duties to her editorial talents, as the global fashion director of 26 international editions of the glossy. Roitfeld will partner with Stephen Gan, the creative director, in sharing her vision on several stories per year, beginning with the March 2013 issue.
“I am thrilled to be contributing to Bazaar, a brand with a rich history of creativity,” said Roitfeld. “Working with Stephen and a roster of talented photographers will be a wonderful collaboration and one that will give these stories a truly global audience.”
While the majority of her role will include imparting her distinct eye for fashion trends, special projects will be included in her duties - including distinctive covers.
