Carolina Herrera Spring 2015
Designer: Carolina Herrera
Inspiration: Inspired by the color code of the flower, Herrera digitized a simple bloom into the perfect palette.
Trends: Each piece harmoniously synchronized sharp angles and geometric design with a sense of softness, femininity, and flow. Full ball gown style skirts paired with structured crop tops, fluttery gowns featuring careful cutouts, boxy shifts and skirts with floral patterns, cropped coats and paneled blouses. Floral motifs dominated the collection in hues and graphic prints.
Palette: magnolia, sunglow, vibrant pink, iris, rose, black, and white
Music: “Aturo” by Christian Prommer
Who was there: Olivia Palermo, Jessica Hart, Erin Wasson, Coco Rocha, Nina Garcia, Anna Wintour, and Julie Henderson
Who should wear it: Women who care about the careful consideration that goes into their cocktail attire, from the full on design to the minuscule detailing.
