DesignerJeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra

Inspiration: Forested trails. Show notes read “Photographing the woods around us, and then abstracting them, painting them in watercolors, using these to map out this color palette as well as begin to set the mood.” On a more concrete level, the pair seemingly drew inspiration from their own closets and brought a borrowed-from-the-boys mentality to the runway.

Trends:Plaid, herringbone, tuxedo shirts, pleated pants and skirts, funnel-neck collars, vests, and suspenders.

Palette: Green, violet, pine, navy, plum, stone, bronze, copper, and gold.

Who was there: Nigel Barker, model Shaun Ross

Who should wear it: Chic craftsmen and woodworkers, DUMBO startup employees, mixed media artists

The playlist: "Olson (Midland Re-edit)" by Boards of Canada
