Designer: Dennis Basso
Inspiration: Basso ended his show with a standing ovation, thanks to a sentimental start: a moment of silence that he requested for "dear friend" Joan Rivers. Basso dedicated the collection to the comedic icon's legacy, the "laughter and happiness" Rivers left in all of our lives. Show notes gave a more detailed account of the clothing, deeming it a product of "luxury resorts of the Mediterranean in the Sixties. A moment where fashion was headed towards a new spirit of lightness and playfulness."
Trends: playsuits, tunic tops, capris, alligator skins, sable jackets and vests, delicate embroidery, chinchilla furs, brocade
Palette: white, rose gold, blush, olive, apricot, grey, soft green.
