Fantasizing over a pair of luxury pumps that are a perfect fit for your personality? Well, stop dreaming and get designing, girl....if you happen to be in the UK. On March 26 and 27, the Prada Sloane Street store in London will offer its customers the opportunity to create their own pair of couture heels based on its Made To Order Décolleté collection.
What a tease, we know! But the hope is that the opportunity to fashion an original pair of heels at your local Prada store will spread westward to the United States too. Shoppers would be able to choose between nine designers, from peep-toe to platforms, in a variety of colors, materials, and heel heights. The individual's initials will then be stamped at the bottom of their design.
Oh, and here's the doozy. There's no rule that says you have to choose between your terrific TOMS or these Prada beauties Yeah, we're looking at you Joseph Magnano. Magnano is the artist who recently admitted to vandalizing the Prada Marfa art installation with the TOMS shoe logo. Le sigh.
Is this something that you'd take advantage of if offered at your local Prada? It sounds like a worthy investment to us. Shall we start a petition?
