I love a good pair of standout shoes. In my four years of pounding the New York City pavement, I’ve given my feet special attention, swaying away from the tendency to stock up on fast-fashion trends that fall apart as soon as I leave the retail floor. Instead, I invest in styles that 1) will complement more than one look, and 2) stand the test of time… literally. This is where Rebecca Minkoff’s pointy-toe, single sole Raz Heel comes in to play.
A self-proclaimed “showstopper,” the black and white design can be (and has been) worn with elegant midi skirts, sporty mesh, date night dresses, luxe leather, and dressed up sweats. Yes, sweats. It perfectly reflects Minkoff’s downtown romantic aesthetic, yet its one of the most versatile shoes in my wardrobe. Even with its leather composition and chameleon-like capabilities, it manages not to break the bank. Why don’t you walk this way? — Angel Lenise
