The photographer, who has worked with the likes of Donna Karan, Tiffany, and Oscar de la Renta, paired up with the beauty brand to prep the debut of its new Rose de Mai Face Oil. She drew from the blooms themselves to create an array of stills, videos, and Beck’s signature cinemagraphs (elegant GIFs). “We wanted to create something that could be used on our social media channel. Not just for our Instagram, but for our Web site and our retailers,” Sylvie Chantecaille, founder and president of Chantecaille, told Women’s Wear Daily.
As for the oil itself, it’s mean to work on all skin types and blends rose de mai pure extract, Chilean tree bark, paracrass, and winged kelp to firm and brighten skin while it reduces a progerin protein that accelerates aging. The oil will hit shelves at the end of February and become a little luxury to indulge in at $185.
Talk about starting the season in full boom!
