Get Up Close and Personal with Proenza Schouler’s MAC Collab

After waiting for months for a peek at Proenza Schouler’s colorful collaboration with MAC, the magical makeup finally hits shelves this week!

Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCullough bucked the no-makeup makeup trend that overtook the runways for the past few season, drawing inspiration from their spring 2010 collection. The result was an oil-slicked kaleidoscope of colors covering the packaging and vibrant pops of pink and coral with a bit of berry and a few nudes for balance for lip and tips. The pair even created an ombré blush that’s surprisingly soft and wearable. “The color looks strong in the compact, but on the skin, it’s soft, muted, and youthful, like you've just been running,” Hernandez explained to Allure.

Talk about fresh-faced for spring; we’re already in love with these hues!
