It's already a well-known fact that supermodels are blessed with amazing genes, but nothing is more indicative of that truth than Gisele Bundchen's newest cover. Just a few months after giving birth to her second child, the bombshell posed for the cover of Brazilian Vogue ... in a swimsuit.
We know, not fair.
Initially, Bundchen worked with the glossy and photographer Mario Testino on a cover and editorial to showcase her return post baby. But given the relationship that Testino and the supermodel have, it quickly turned into an entire issue about her body.
“Mario got so excited with Gisele’s shape, and how she looked amazing two months after giving birth, that he proposed to do eight more editorials on the theme, each very different from the other, discussing subjects from gender identity to the right to use your body as you wish,”said Daniela Falcão, the magazine's editor.
Bundchen speaks very publicly on her workout regime, citing kung fu, the Tracy Anderson method, and yoga as the keys to her perfectly sculpted body. Given the hard work she puts into her form, we're of the impression that this supermodel deserves the recognition for her body— especially when it comes from the magazine of her hometown and her close friend, Testino.
“In Brazil, body image is very relevant since people have a big concern with the shape, whether being dressed or naked. It’s such a part of the culture — like in Rio, where the beach meets the city and people go to the beach after work and on weekends.” Testino said.
