Going Green: Eco-Chic Celebs
We’re inspired by the flavors of Crystal Light’s new virgin, low-calorie mocktails! The three green flavors-appletini, mojito, and margarita—reminded us that Earth Day is coming up on April 22. In honor of going green and drinking green, here are three celebs who support eco-friendly fashion.
A dedicated vegetarian, Stella McCartney leads the high-fashion industry in green support. She completely greened her design studio by opting for wind-powered energy. McCartney also creates clothing and shoes made from organic and vegan materials.
2. Meryl Streep
Oscar winner Meryl Streep wore a gorgeous gold dress by Lanvin to the 2012 Academy Awards. The full-length gown was made from eco-certified fabric. The actress also participated in Livia Firth’s Green Carpet Challenge, a push to get celebs to go green during awards season.3. Michelle Williams
Best Actress nominee Michelle Williams wore a dress from H&M’s Conscious Collection at the 2012 BAFTA Awards. H&M’s Conscious Collection features earth-friendly materials such as recycled wool, cotton, and polyester.
