Great Gift Ideas: Oprah’s Favorite Things – Part I
We love, love, love “Oprah's Favorite Things,” and look forward to the annual event, where the TV hostess with the mostess gives out thousands of dollars worth of goodies to one lucky and deserving studio audience. And since this is Oprah's farewell season, the ultimate gift giver went all out! Here are a few of the best and most fabulous items from the amazing episode. (Oh, and this is just Part I… Oprah is surprising a second audience today! Woohoo!)
“May I say… This is one sexy camera,” Oprah said about the Nikon D2100 Digital SLR Camera. $699.95.
“This is the perfect amount of scent and the perfect amount of wick,” Oprah said while distributing the entire collection of 18 Lafco House and Home candles to her audience. $55 each.
“I love Tory Burch!,” Oprah emphatically proclaimed while showing the audience their new $195 flats and $250 tote bags.
Oprah has done many shows on the importance of organization. So it's no surprise that she gave her audience an Elfa customizable Closet System, valued up to $1,000, from the Container Store.
“I have personally bought 22 of these as gifts for other people,” Oprah said. She obviously more-than-likes the Breville Panini Press, which retails for $99.95.
Judith Ripka is one of Oprah's favorite jewelers, so she gave each member of her lucky audience a stunning pair of Eclipse Earrings. $525.
“I love this watch because it's great for going out on the town,” Oprah says. And with 58 hand-set diamonds, this limited-edition Philip Stein piece is definitely for special occasions. $2,475.
“Cruising, of course, is one of my favorite things… And you are going to have the time of your lives,” Oprah told the audience while revealing her biggest gift of the season: a seven-day adventure aboard the brand new Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world.
