It’s been six long, hard months since social media’s resident bad gal bid adieu to sharing NSFW photos and sassy captions on Instagram. Finally, we, and our dry timelines, can welcome the #RIHturn of Rihanna!
Ri first left the photo-sharing site in May after uploading nude photos from a racy photoshoot with Lui magazine... you remember the ones. The pictures reportedly violated Instagram’s “policy against photos of topless women” according to Mashable, and incited Ri to leave her 13 million followers behind after IG authorities deleted the images from her page.
As of November 2, it seems as though there’s no love lost between the two: Rihanna confirmed that she was “badgalback” with her first selfie; Instagram restored her followers and past flicks; and the app’s founder, Kevin Systrom sent out his first tweet since August 16, 2012 to announce the prodigal photo-taker’s return.
This means one thing: time to pour it up!
