We’ve played Beyoncé’s eponymous visual album on a near-daily basis since it dropped last December. We’ve emulated her moves in its accompanying music videos, got our lives during both the Mrs. Carter Show and On The Run Tour, and willingly handed over our wigs when she and her clan posed—like the chic, mystical beings they are—at Solange’s New Orleans nuptials. So when news broke that she would release a platinum version of Beyoncéwith two new singles, we were willing to receive.

Snippets of “7/11” and “Ring Off,” appeared on Bey’s website, and now, full streams of both are available online. The first evokes Yoncé’s “Bow Down” braggadocio and gives us a second taste of her trap persona, which we heard in full force on an original and remixed “***Flawless.” The latter, “Ring Off,” is a reggae-influenced ode to her mother Tina Knowles and her triumph over divorce from her cheating husband (and Bey’s former manager) Mathew Knowles. Bey lets us into the saga with lyrics like “so tired of the lies and trying, fighting, crying, took that ring off, oh, now the fun begins,” and crescendos until a recording of her mother can be heard saying, “If you’re going through it, just know it’s called “going through it... you’re going to survive.”

Listen to “7/11” below and head over to Spinto stream “Ring Off” before the Beygency pulls both offline ahead of their November 24 release.
