Us Weekly reports that Beyoncé’s baby sister is getting her happily ever after. The Saint Records chief, who relocated from Brooklyn to New Orleans, is slated to marry her longtime boyfriend, music video director Alan Ferguson, on Sunday. They will kick off the weekend with a Friday night movie and hold a rehearsal dinner on Saturday, all culminating in a walk down the aisle on Sunday, November 16 at her Louisiana estate.
Rumors surfaced that the pair got engaged during Knowles’ Jamaican birthday celebration back in June. The couple neither confirmed nor denied the news, but if their N.O. nuptials do come to pass, its a tell-tale sign that an “I Do” exchange has been in the works for some time. And, despite what went down in an elevator, the Knowles-Ferguson alliance will be a family affair.
Knowles and Ferguson have been dating for five years, but the latter has been linked to her family for years. Back in 1997, he directed (future) brother-in-law Jay Z’s music video for “Feelin’ It.” He would go on to helm videos for Fall Out Boy, Janelle Monáe, Katy Perry, and John Legend, before directing Bey’s “Party” in 2011.
If wedding reports weren’t enough, rumor has it that the couple could be working to give Knowles’ 10-year-old son a sibling... and Blue Ivy a playmate! What we really want to know is who she’ll wear!
