Hugh Jackman Loves Donna Karan and the Polar Vortex

It’s always a treat to see handsome gents front row at fashion shows. On Monday night, Hugh Jackman excited the crowd when he arrived to celebrate “The Journey of a Woman” with Donna Karan. The actor and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness joined the designer, who they met 12 years ago, to mark the 30th anniversary of her brand. Jackman took in the scene at 23 Wall Street and marveled. “Donna is incredible,” he said. “She finds a space where no one has shown before and pulls it out.”

While countless editors bundled up in their furs complaining about the lack of heat in the former J.P.Morgan Co. building, Jackman relished in the frigid atmosphere beside Furness and Trudie Styler. “I love this,” he said. “I spent my life at the beach in Australia where it was always warm, so this is fantastic!”

Though Jackman is an admirer of Karan’s designs, his own ensemble was from Burberry. “I came straight from a shoot and this is what I was wearing,” he explained. “Deborra is wearing Donna.”
