New York prompted many aspiring artists, designers, and more to pursue their dreams and influence their work, and now Clinique is getting in on the action.
The beauty authority created a short film to showcase the city’s endless well of inspiration for its Global Color Artist, Jenna Menard. Directed by John Urbano, the clip features Menard as she strolls through the streets of Chelsea and the Meatpacking District to see vibrant murals, a rainbow of ribbons, and plenty of pigments to play with.
One of her favorite spots is the Chelsea Art District on 24th Street where the art is meant for the people, even if they’re just walking by. “I walk down this street every day on my way to the gym,” says Menard. “Sometimes all I need to feel inspired is to look at the windows of these galleries. But quite often I go inside too.”
