While it’s easy to sift through the latest launches from our fave beauty brands, snagging a seat at our go-to salon has always been a big challenge until now.
From blowouts to mani/pedis, makeup applications, and more, Byoutik is the latest app for beauty buffs to search, book, and pay for all beauty services and is set to launch June 21. However, the new app addition is not to be confused with Hannah Bronfman’s Beautified that connects you with major spas and salons like Oscar Blandi in a snap. Byoutik boasts 30 freelance beauticians; each stylist has a profile that includes photos, services, prices, availability, and cities they can travel to.
The idea stemmed from the same difficulty we face every week, getting a manicure. Lilie Otto and Maria Elhafed were tired of the long waits and decided to do something about it. “Our mission is to unify the intimacy of a pampering session with the ease of walking into salons,” Otto told Women’s Wear Daily. “Finding great service can be a daunting task and reading through reviews can get confusing and lack precision.”
